ICM Capital Cares

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

Wherever possible ICM Capital look to use our position of privilege to help others and make a positive difference to the world around us. From supporting projects we are passionate about, to using our voice to shine a spotlight on issues that deserve more attention, we believe there is always important social work to be that needs to be achieved.

We are incredibly proud of what ICM Capital Cares has achieved so far and thank all our clients, partners and staff for their continued support. It’s one of the reasons why we believe that by working together we can turn challenges into opportunities, allowing us to always push boundaries to make business and the world a better place to live and work in.

OUR PROJECTS

Helping others enjoy a festive experience

Dubai, June 2017: For many people living in the UAE, Ramadan is not a festive experience due to lack of money and access to basic provisions. In 2017 we decided to brighten up the lives of local families by providing food, along with a touch of warmth for the lives of those less fortunate, which is truly in keeping with the spirit of Ramadan and Islamic teachings. In life it is quite often the smallest things that can have the biggest impact, and our gifts ensured recipients were able to have a happy and meaningful festive experience.

Empowering the next generation

Helping clients transform the way they trade is one of the core values of our company. By encouraging sustainable trading we ensure our clients, partners and local communities benefit from our industry knowledge and expertise. At ICM Capital we recognise our privileged position and continually work to set the right example to others in the world of trading.

One of the ways we are able to do this is by offering our experience and insight to others. In May 2017 we spent some time with the finance and investment students at ‘Rochester Institute of Technology’ (RIT), Dubai, covering everything from the basics of trading, to technical and fundamental analysis.

We believe that educating the next generation will help build a pathway towards a better and brighter future for all. As we learn as a company we want to help others grow with us, passing on knowledge to empower and develop their opportunities in life.

Working to help children overcome poverty

China, January 2016 : As a member of the FX Charity Foundation, ICM Capital participated in Xiangxi Aide et Action in 2016, an initiative that provides support in education and early childhood care programmes.

It tied in closely with our belief that investing in the next generation will help create a more resourceful nation and prosperous future for both the individual and the country as a whole.

While we acknowledge that education is not the only factor that will determine a person’s success in later life, we do recognise the crucial role it plays in empowering and broadening their horizons and the career options made available to them.
