ICM.com Introduces "Stock Baskets" to Investors

London, UK – Monday, November 16, 2020: ICM.com, a UK-based global multi-regulated financial service provider, announced today the offering of a new program that will help in investing in popular stocks like Facebook, Apple and Amazon instantly and simultaneously.

In today’s challenging economic environment where investors are determined to seek out returns, the focus has switched to “thematic” investment strategies - a new approach that allows to speculate on the performance of a particular sector, which reveals investible opportunities.

ICM’s stock basket products combine shares across a pool of companies from a single sector into a single tradeable instrument, allowing clients to speculate on sectors as a whole instead of having to select a single company.

Shoaib Abedi, the founder of ICM, commented: “In this current climate, savvy investors have developed bullish views on certain sectors, and this is a great way for them to express that.”

Current themes offered by ICM include Biotech, Cannabis, China Ecommerce, China Technology, ESports and Gaming, plus top US-based Technology stocks (FAANG). These areas are well-positioned in the current global economic climate and have been steadily gaining popularity during the current global pandemic.

The six thematic stock baskets and their respective constituents below:

  • BIOTECH– AbbVie Inc, Amgen Inc, Gilead Sciences, Bristol-Myers Squibb Co and Vertex Pharmaceuticals Inc
  • CANNABIS – Tilray Inc, GW Pharmaceuticals PLC, Canopy Growth Corp, Aurora Cannabis Inc, Innovative Industrial Properties and Cronos Group Inc
